boogie (my dog) was born (november 16th).
for some reason i decided to purchase a
food bowl from a local retail petstore...
i bought this particular bowl because it
had the bottom and 3/4s of the sides coated
in a rubber to prevent it from slipping
and sliding when boogie ate from it.
i also purchased this bowl because it claimed
to have a rounded lip which prevented ants
from entering the feed area (of the bowl).
at the time, i found this last quality interesting
partly because i know of no area that an
ant can't penetrate easily (especially if
sitting on the floor/ground)....
but i paid the $3 extra for it and went home happy.
due to the dynamics of my home's layout,
the bowl sits next to the backyard door,
the waterer, and my desk (click here for image)
although i've never had problems in the past,
today i check the bowl and its coated in ants.

immediately i think back to the moment i
was in petsmart and the circumstances surrounding
my awe and wonder at the ant-free bowl....
these bastards were full of shit

I used to dislike ants, but then I saw the riveting hollywood motion picture, "Antz".
It changed my life.
